NiFanghe La’ah New Year Celebration.
NiFanghe La’ah New Year Celebration is a special day when the various institutions of the Muwah Royal Palace come together to welcome and celebrate the new year. It is a time for different groups to reflect on their growth, give thanks for the gift of life, and appreciate the blessings the new year brings. Participants also share their hopes and wishes for a safe, peaceful, and prosperous year ahead.
The date for this celebration is set after consultations with the various institutions of the palace. On this day, everyone contributes what they can—be it food, drinks, or gifts—to share with others in the spirit of unity. It is a day filled with love, growth, and heartfelt wishes, as we honor the past and look forward to the future.
You are warmly invited to join us in this joyful celebration
The Origin and Significance of NiFanghe La’ah
NiFanghe La’ah is more than just a New Year celebration—it is a sacred tradition, divinely revealed to HRH Fon Taka IV by the ancestors of Muwah Royal Palace. This profound day was crafted as a moment when the entire community gathers at the palace plaza to celebrate the New Year, love, and unity. It is a time when the people of Muwah come together, not just in festivity, but in spiritual reflection and renewal.
The meaning of NiFanghe La’ah translates to “The Day of Grace, Growth, Blessings, and Prosperity”, and it serves as a powerful moment for reconciliation, healing, and divine favor. As the community comes together—offering food, drinks, and gifts in a spirit of sharing—the ancestors are moved to forgive past wrongs, liberate those bound by negativity, and shower blessings upon all participants.
This sacred gathering is a reminder that growth and prosperity are only possible when love and unity prevail. It is a day of transformation, where past grievances are washed away, hearts are healed, and a renewed spirit of peace and togetherness takes root for the year ahead.
Recognizing the divine importance of this day, the inaugural NiFanghe La’ah celebration has been set for February 16, 2025, as agreed upon by a joint sitting of the various traditional institutions of the Muwah Royal Palace. However, in a royal decree from the Muwah Royal Throne, it has been officially established that every 1st of January will henceforth be the permanent date for the annual celebration of NiFanghe La’ah.
By participating in NiFanghe La’ah, the people of Muwah not only honor their ancestors but also secure divine protection, success, and harmony for themselves and future generations.

We are thrilled to bring you the latest updates from Muwah, where the spirit of tradition meets progress, and the values of our cherished heritage continue to guide us toward a prosperous future.
