The eFormeghumeh Dance Group is one of the most treasured cultural forces in Muwah, embodying the heart and spirit of the Muwah people. More than just a dance troupe, they are the living expression of Muwah’s rich heritage, resilience, and the deep connection to its ancestors. When the eFormeghumeh dancers take to the stage, they do not just perform—they breathe life into the history and culture of Muwah, weaving stories that span generations. Their performances captivate audiences and offer a profound experience that goes beyond mere entertainment.
Founded in 2008 by the visionary and wise ruler Ifo Nji, the eFormeghumeh Dance Group was established with a singular purpose: to preserve and promote the cultural legacy of Muwah and the door through which the Muwah Fon goes through to the land of the Ancestors, while passing it down to future generations. In a time of great challenges and adversity, Ifo Nji understood the importance of preserving tradition, and it was his foresight that gave birth to this incredible dance group. The name "eFormeghumeh," meaning "the legacy keepers," reflects the sacred responsibility the group carries as they honor the history of the Muwah throne and the traditions of the Muwah people.
