The Lineage of the Taka Royal Dynasty Explained!
The Taka Royal Dynasty traces its origins back to Muluhpenn, the first Fon of Pinyin, whose reign laid the foundation for a legacy of strength, wisdom, and governance. His leadership marked the beginning of a royal lineage destined to endure across generations.
Among Muluhpenn’s descendants was Muluh Mezoh, whose bloodline continued through his four sons, including Khan Tewah, who, alongside his brothers, established the Buchi Lineage. This lineage expanded upwards to Ndi Chi, passed down from generation to generation. Among its notable children was Ifo Muluh , the first recognized Fon of Buchi, whose leadership ensured stability, continuity, and the preservation of cultural values.
Muluh Ifo’s reign paved the way for Taka Nchang, who succeeded Taka Awasuh, the distinguished founder of the Taka Royal Dynasty. Under Taka Awasuh’s leadership, the dynasty took form, gaining prominence and respect. He migrated from Buchi, founding Muwah, where the present royal seat was established in collaboration with Ifo Muluh. Ifo Muluh was later succeeded by Ifo Jeremiah Mokom, who, following the passing of Taka Nchang, finalized the enthronement of Ifo Taka Nji as Fon of Muwah.
In keeping with ancestral traditions, leadership transitioned from Ifo Taka Nji to Ifo Taka Muluh, the current head of the dynasty. Historical records affirm that the ancestors of Ifo Taka Muluh played a crucial role over centuries in shaping the Pinyin Kingdom and the Buchi Palace. After a century of building the Pinyin village, rituals and ceremonies, the Muwah Royal Dynasty was formally established and concluded all traditional rites in the Pinyin Paramount Palace in 2019, solidifying its place as one of the thrones within the Pinyin Clan.
As of February 2025, the Taka Royal Dynasty has expanded to over 2,012 people, a testament to its enduring strength and growth. With its deep-rooted heritage and unwavering commitment to leadership, the dynasty continues to flourish, ensuring that future generations uphold its rich traditions, values, and legacy.

The Legacy of the Taka Royal Dynasty: A Journey Through Generations
Documented and narrated history, tested and validated holds that the Taka Royal Dynasty stands as a pillar of strength, vision, and unwavering commitment to its people. From its genesis with Baba Taka Awasuh of Bapiyen in 1798, the dynasty has carved a legacy of unity, progress, and cultural preservation that continues to thrive under His Majesty King Muluh Taka IV.
Baba Taka Awasuh: The Visionary Patriarch (1798–1911)
Baba Taka Awasuh (1798–1911) was the cornerstone of the Taka Royal Dynasty, a leader whose profound wisdom, resilience, and unifying vision laid the foundation for a legacy that would stand the test of time. Revered for his exceptional ability to mediate conflicts and safeguard the traditions of his people, Baba Awasuh was not just the patriarch of his immediate family but a respected leader throughout the Pinyin Clan. His legacy includes many children, such as Ticha Ndaa (Pafilec), Nchange Moses, Ngaliwa Nkam, Mbokwang, Kwankah, and Yamlere, who played pivotal roles in the dynasty's expansion. A key turning point in the dynasty’s history came after a succession dispute with his brother Njisuh, prompting Baba Awasuh to establish his own lineage, giving birth to the Taka Dynasty. Upon his passing in 1911, his son Moses Nchang (1865–1980) succeeded him. Moses Nchang was a dynamic and visionary leader who eventually led the family from Inner Pinyin to Buchi and later founded and settled in Muwah. With his strong leadership, Moses attracted 11 families to join him under his governance, officially establishing the Muwah community. His reign spanned over a century, leaving an enduring mark on the Taka Royal Dynasty, paving the way for future generations to thrive.
Chief Taka Nchang: The Pioneer of Muwah (1865–1980)
When Baba Awasuh passed the mantle of leadership, it was his son, Chief Taka Nchang, who assumed the role. A true pioneer, Chief Nchang was the first to settle in the village of Muwah, establishing it as the heart of the dynasty’s governance. Under his leadership, Muwah flourished into a vibrant community that balanced tradition with the need for progress.
Chief Nchang’s reign spanned over a century, a testament to his vitality and devotion to his people. His leadership was marked by efforts to strengthen cultural identity and lay the groundwork for the royal systems that would define the dynasty in the years to come.
HRH King E.N. Taka III: The Modernizer (1943–2019)
In 1982, Chief Taka Nchang’s son, HRH King E.N. Taka III, ascended the throne, finalizing the ruler authority rites that solidified the dynasty’s leadership. A progressive leader, King Taka III recognized the importance of adapting tradition to the demands of the modern world.
Under his reign, Muwah saw unprecedented development in education, infrastructure, and governance. King Taka III was a bridge between the past and the future, ensuring that the cultural heritage of the Pinyin Clan remained vibrant while embracing innovation. His passing in 2019 marked the end of an era, but his legacy continued to inspire his people.
His Majesty King Muluh Taka IV: The Visionary Leader (2019–Present)
The mantle of leadership now rests with His Majesty King Muluh Taka IV, a ruler whose vision extends far beyond the boundaries of Muwah. With advanced degrees in innovation studies and business administration, King Muluh embodies the perfect blend of tradition and modernity.
Since his enthronement, King Muluh has led the Taka Royal Dynasty and the Muwah community into an era of empowerment, unity, and global engagement. His leadership has been characterized by initiatives in education, healthcare, and cultural preservation. A leader who has traveled across continents and worked in the banking sector as a solution architect, King Muluh’s worldly experience shapes his strategies for a prosperous future.
A Dynasty That Endures
From the time of Baba Taka Awasuh to the present reign of King Muluh Taka IV, the Taka Royal Dynasty has been a beacon of hope and resilience. Each leader has built upon the foundation laid by their predecessors, ensuring that the values of unity, empowerment, and cultural pride remain at the core of their governance.
Today, the Taka Royal Dynasty is not just a symbol of leadership but also a testament to the enduring spirit of the Pinyin Clan. As King Muluh Taka IV continues to lead with wisdom and vision, the dynasty’s legacy grows ever stronger, inspiring generations to come.

Taka Royal Dynasty Birth Register Since 19th November 2023
From the sacred lineage of Taka Awasuh, the Taka Royal Dynasty has flourished across generations, its roots stretching back to 1798. By October 2023, oral history, the sacred testimony of our elders, and the records preserved within the Muwah Royal Palace Archives affirm that our global descendants have far surpassed 4,000 souls.
His Royal Highness, Ifo Muluh Taka IV, the custodian of our noble bloodline, has undertaken a divine mission, to unite all descendants of this great dynasty. As of October 2023, 2,201 members had been accounted for, and a decree was set forth: every new descendant shall be honored, recorded, and given a sacred family identity.
This family identity, bearing the mark TRU—the Taka Royal Union/Dynasty, carries the spirit of continuity. The first four digits signify the descendant’s number at birth, while the final eight digits enshrine the day, month, and year of their birth, binding them eternally to the lineage.
As it is written in the Holy Scriptures, the Most High has ordained:
"I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore." – Genesis 22:17
Thus, in the presence of the living and the departed, before the spirits of our forebears who laid this sacred foundation, libations are poured, and prayers are spoken. May our lineage multiply like the stars in the heavens and spread across the earth, never to be broken, never to be diminished.
Let it be known that from November 2023 onward, the registration of every descendant shall commence, ensuring that no child of this dynasty is lost to time. By the will of our ancestors and the blessings of the Almighty, the Taka Royal Dynasty shall endure for eternity!
